
PHOENIX — Two dozen Emerson J. Dillon Middle School students were honored for their commitment to academic success and strong character as the newest inductees to the National Junior Honor Society.
The students were inducted during a recent ceremony and were selected for the prestigious society based on their grades, character and leadership qualities.
The current NJHS officer team of President Lillianne Quinn, Vice President Sheriden Southworth, Secretary Taetum Patnode and Treasurer Alexander Whaley led the ceremony. The EJD chapter is advised by Jennifer Mainville.
During the ceremony, EJD Principal Sue Anderson was on hand to place pins on the new inductees.
The 2019 inductees were Isaiah Bergman, Emma Bova, Courtney Carter, Jessica Carter, Kai Clary, Rylee Deslow, Marra DiGiovanni, Matthew Durst, Evan Fox, Mia Graham, Blake Hoyt, Conor Jones, Lincoln Kersey, Kaylen Lamphere, Lily MacDonald, Lia McBurnie, Alyssa Murphy, Caedance Myer, Macray Pelton, Margo Pritting, Arlin Russo, Alaina Sutter, Chloe Thomas and Luke Zellar.
