PHOENIX – At Emerson J. Dillon Middle School, students have embraced the random acts of kindness theme as they strive to make a positive impact on their school community.

Keeping with that theme, students in Sandy Silky’s class recently made decorative falls jars and presented them to five randomly selected teachers.
The recipients were grateful to the students for their thoughtfulness.
According to EJD teacher Laurie Doss, the project served as a life lesson in the importance of giving.
“Students are learning the importance of spreading kindness,” Doss said.
