PHOENIX – Second graders in the Phoenix Central School District took their studies around the globe as part of a holiday-inspired lesson prior to Christmas break.
Students used their imaginations to travel to Sweden, Germany, England and Mexico.
In each country, they learned about cultural traditions and experiences unique to each location.
Teachers noted that the students learned about the world around them while creating holiday ornaments, crowns, flowers and other projects.
