OSWEGO COUNTY – Guided fishing trips, a gun cleaning kit, guided turkey hunt, and a set of life vests are among the great prizes that will be awarded this summer in the latest photo contest sponsored by the Oswego County Tourism Office.
Winning pictures will be featured in the new Oswego County Fishing and Hunting Guide, which is due out later this year. Photographers can submit pictures of children, families, and men and women fishing and hunting anywhere in Oswego County. People are encouraged to send in scenic fishing and hunting photos, trophy pictures and action shots. Photos must be taken in Oswego County.
Each person can submit up to five color photos, either vertical or horizontal. Only digital photos will be accepted.
Prizes include a guided turkey hunt with Tony G of SalmonRiverNYDriftBoatGuide.com, and fishing trips with Angling Adventures Guide Service, Cannonball Runner Charters, Douglaston Salmon Run, Outdoor Adventure Guide Service, Papa Smurf Fishing Charters, Paul’s Guide Service, Prime Time Sportfishing Charters, Reel Silver Charters, and Strike King Charters. Otis Technology has donated a Mossy Oak Camouflage Premium Gun Cleaning System. Brookfield Power has donated four inflatable life jackets for the winning photo that depicts people wearing personal flotation devices while fishing.

The deadline to submit photos is 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 31. Winners will be notified shortly after.
