Oswego, NY – Step One Creative, an Oswego-based marketing communications firm, has announced that Caitlin Pike, of Oswego, has joined the agency as a fall public relations intern, according to President Shane R. Stepien.
Pike, a recent broadcasting and mass communication graduate of SUNY Oswego, will assist Step One with various event related projects, as well as ongoing public relation initiatives.
“With her writing and public relations skills we’re excited to have Caitlin join us as an intern at Step One,” said Stepien. “We look forward to having her assist us on a variety of new projects throughout the fall, and helping her grow within the profession.”
In addition to her internship at Step One Creative, Pike was a member of the student run television station at SUNY Oswego, WTOP, reporting on various sporting events, news and helping to promote campus events. Pike also ran for the women’s cross country and track and field teams at Oswego.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to be involved with Step One as an intern this fall,” said Pike. “Being able to make use of the marketing skills and knowledge I have developed from school in an actual work day, will be very beneficial for my career in communications.”
Coming from a family of avid sports fans, Pike looks forward to pursuing a career in sports broadcasting in the near future.
