Pirates And Princess Gala Celebrates Harborfest’s Cultural Component

Submitted Article

OSWEGO, NY – The Harborfest Children’s Committee will be hosting a Pirates and Princess Gala for children ages Pre-K through 10 on July 16 at the Captain’s Quarters from 6 – 8:30 p.m.

The gala will be celebrating Harborfest’s cultural component of the Caribbean Islands.

The cultural component has closed the gap around the globe by gearing pre-festival activities and workshops to capture the geography, culture, and arts of neighboring countries since its inception in 1999.

Children are encouraged to wear their pirate and princess costumes and come and enjoy the bounty of food that is catered by G.S. Steamers, Port City Café, and Cake Creations by Jen Patterson.

Tickets are $5 each, non-refundable, and will be available until July 13 at: Wayne Drugs, Oswego City-County Youth Bureau, Oswego YMCA, and the Harborfest offices.

Everyone must present a ticket to attend.

Tickets will not be available at the door, so get yours today.

Visit the Harborfest website at www.oswegoharborfest.com for the latest information regarding transportation options and performance schedules.

Harborfest is July 24-27.
