PJC Welcomes Brandolino Back to CNY, Television

OSWEGO, NY – The Professional Journalists and Communicators of Oswego County will welcome world-traveling weatherman Chris Brandolino at its next meeting set for 5 p.m. March 4 at Bridie Manor on West First Street.

He’ll talk about his experience abroad and transition back to television in a presentation beginning at 5:30 p.m.

SUNY Oswego graduate Brandolino recently returned from a two-year stay in Perth, Australia, where he worked for the country’s Bureau of Meteorology.

Brandolino established himself as a Central New York celebrity as a meteorologist with WSTM-TV, Syracuse, for more than 10 years. He joined WSYR-TV in January.

The Schenectady native does forecasts for the “Morning News” and “NewsChannel 9 @ Noon” in addition to co-hosting the “Bridge Street” morning program.

The meeting of the PJC is open to the public. The cost is $12 for members and $14 for non-members.
