OSWEGO, NY – The H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center will offer ‘Tales of The Haunted Harbor’ this summer on Aug. 23 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Museum’s NYS Derrick Boat No. 8.

The tales feature Jonel Langenfeld-Rial, professor of Theatre and Theatre in Education at SUNY Oswego as the storyteller.

The planning meeting and informal auditions for specific characters and technical positions for this year’s Tales will be held on July 29 at the museum starting at 6 p.m.
Attendees should be prepared to read from a script.
Children ages 9 and above and adults interested in being involved should come to the informational meeting.
“Jonel has made a point to involve local talent in the production. She brings a rich history of performance and storytelling experience to an annual tradition,” said Richard Bush, president of the H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center.
The event is sponsored in part by Wayne Drug and NBT Bank, both longtime supporters of the Tales program and the Maritime Center.
