OSWEGO, NY – Harborfest will be holding a pre-parade workshop, sponsored by Entergy.
The workshop is being held on Sunday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at Breitbeck Park.
Children are invited to participate in several activities, in preparation for the Harborfest Children’s Parade.
The workshop activities will be centered around this year’s cultural theme, the Caribbean.
Children can work on making their own individual floats for the parade.
They can also make masks and T-shirts. Children may can bring their own T-shirts, or purchase one at the workshop.
The workshop activities will help children be ready for the much anticipated Children’s Parade.
The parade will be on July 25.
Activities begin at 10 a.m. in West Park, with the actual parade leaving West Park at 11 a.m.
The parade ends at Breitbeck Park, where families can enjoy an afternoon of children’s entertainment.
