FULTON – On Dec. 2, students from the Conservation of Natural Resources class at Cayuga Community College, Fulton Campus, volunteered for a pre-winter trail repair and cleanup at Great Bear Springs Recreation Area.
A hillside trail section with side drainage gutters and drain pipe was cleared of leaves and silt.
A large tree was also cut and cleared from the Homestead Trail.
Students from the Conservation of Natural Resources class and other students from CCC Fulton Campus have volunteered to help at Great Bear for Oswego County Earth Week cleanups.
Their help is much appreciated.
