Premier Living Suites Now Giving Tours

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego off-campus housing complex, Premier Living Suites, is now giving tours of the building to students by appointment.

The progress of construction has been moving along smoothly since the building’s
erection in October.

Siding, roofing and electrical finished, the focus of workers is now on interior painting and the electrical wiring for the movie theater, which will feature a library of DVDs and free popcorn.

Students taking a tour will get to see the construction process first-hand and catch a
glimpse of two nearly finished and furnished apartments on the third floor.

These are 4-bedroom suite-styled apartments featuring an eat-in kitchen, two bathrooms per apartment, a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, a dining room table set, couches, a 40” flat screen television in the living room, a full-sized bed, desk, 6’ bedroom closets with
double hanging racks and a large balcony with a patio set.

Tenants will also be provided with a semester care package containing goodies and cleaning products when they move in.

“We really tried to think of anything and everything a college student would need,” said
property manager Naomi Himes. “We want our tenants to be able to focus on their
education by creating a living environment for success.”

The basement floor of the building will have a computer lab with free wireless printing, a
quiet study lounge, recreational areas with pool, darts and gaming systems, a kitchen area
featuring a continental breakfast, Free Pizza Mondays and Free Food Fridays, a state-of-
the-art fitness center with 24/7 access and more.

Owners Greg and Patrick Furlong say they want to foster a higher quality of living at
Premier Living Suites and they hope to work with organizations like the Red Cross in
giving back to the community.

The Furlongs are currently working with local Oswego businesses like Mark’s Pizzeria, Friendly’s, GJP Italian Eatery and Cheap Seats Sports Bar in the creation of their discount card that will be offered to all of their tenants.

They’ve also sponsored events at locations like the Shed and the American Foundry.

“My brother and I live in the city of Oswego and are raising our children here,” said
Greg Furlong. “We care about this community and want to support and work with the
local businesses here in any way we can.”

Stay tuned for a community open house of the Premier Living Suites building sometime
in August.
