OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Sunrise Rotary president-elect Carol Reed reported on her training last week at President Elect Training Seminar.
She discussed the theme is Building Communities Bridging Continents for the year 2010-2011.
Rotary will continue to collect money to eradicate Polio.
Other projects include collecting and shipping pallets of books to aid in literacy.
Shelter boxes are being sent to disaster areas the boxes contain tents food and other items necessary for survival.
She reported that Rotary has lost fewer members than other service clubs.
She told the club that $8,000 is available from the district for new service projects.
Paul Scott will serve as Rotary International District 7150 Governor.
