OSWEGO, NY – Price Chopper stores throughout New York State are inviting its customers to help their local United Way do what matters to improve people’s lives. Now through Aug. 31, Price Chopper customers have the opportunity to purchase United Way pinups for $1. Price Chopper will match the purchase price of each pin-up and all dollars raised in local stores will go back to their local community.

“We are happy to be receiving this support from Price Chopper,” said Resource Development Director for the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Lois Luber. “The funds raised through their pinup promotion will help get our annual campaign closer to its goal.”

The United Way’s Annual Campaign, which serves as the organizations primary fundraiser, officially gets under way Sept. 14 with a campaign kickoff breakfast at the American Foundry in Oswego. The campaign raises funds to support the many human services programs that the United Way and its member agencies provide for those who live in Oswego County.
