Price Chopper to Help Success By 6 Stuff-A-Bus

OSWEGO, NY – Price Chopper food stores have joined the efforts of the United Way’s Success By 6 program to provide children less fortunate throughout Oswego County with the supplies they need to begin the school year.

Initiated by the United Way’s Success By 6 program, the goal of the “Stuff-A-Bus” campaign is to collect school supplies for children in need throughout Oswego County.

“The support we are receiving from caring businesses such as Price Chopper is very encouraging,” said Bonnie Holmes, director of the Success By 6 program.

Success By 6 looks to fill 11 buses with school supplies for students in need throughout Oswego County.

The final collection will take place on Aug. 15 when Success By 6 will have buses at:

The Midway Drive-In on Route 48 in Minetto, Wal-Mart on Route 49 in Central Square,  Wal-Mart on Route 104 in Oswego, Wal-Mart on Route 3 in Granby, Kinney Drugs on Main Street in Mexico, Kinney Drugs on Route 13 in Pulaski, Kinney Drugs on Bridge Street in Oswego, Staples on Route 104 in Oswego, Hannibal IGA, Route 3 in Hannibal, Price Chopper on Route 104 in Oswego, and Price Chopper on West First Street in Fulton.

Donations will be accepted at these locations now through Aug. 15 when the final collection will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
