Public Hearing: Highway Improvements On Route 104 Between Kocher Road And Maiden Lane, Town Of Scriba

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will conduct a public hearing on the design of a highway safety improvement project on State Route 104 between Kocher Road and Maiden Lane in the town of Scriba, Oswego County. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Scriba Justice Center, located at 45 Creamery Road in Scriba, NY.

Representatives from the Department of Transportation will be available at 7:00 p.m. to answer project related questions. The public hearing will begin at 7:30 p.m., consisting of a technical presentation on the project details, a discussion of property acquisition and a schedule update. The hearing will also include a comment period, where those wishing to express their views on the project will have their comments entered into the project record. Written comments will also be accepted until December 17, 2009.

Copies of the design report are available for public inspection at the Town of Scriba Clerk’s office (42 Creamery Road, Oswego, NY 13216); the Oswego Public Library (120 East Second Street, Oswego, NY 13216); the NYSDOT Oswego County Residency (5846 Scenic Avenue, Mexico, NY 13114) or at the NYSDOT Regional Director’s Office (333 East Washington Street, Syracuse, NY 13202). Written comments should be addressed to the Regional Director’s office.
