PULASKI, NY – Calvary Baptist Church, 5353 US Route 11, Pulaski, will celebrate 20 years of service with a 20 Years On the Hill Celebration Weekend that begins November 17 with a 6:30 p.m. concert with inspirational hearing-impaired singer and national recording artist Sherry Anne.
The public is welcome; please bring a canned or dry good for the local food pantry.
Sherry Anne, who was born with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment, sings with an elegant voice that perfectly blends a passion for Southern Gospel-style, Country, and Blues music with her deep faith.
She made her first performance with the Gaither Vocal Band in July and joined the Gaither Homecoming sing-a-long at the National Quartet Convention in Tennessee in September.
She recently released a video of “Silent Prayer,” a song that offers hope to those challenged by life circumstances, including hearing loss and grief.

Calvary Baptist Church, located on a hillside along US Route 11 north of Pulaski, offers programming for all ages with ministries for moms, children, teens, senior citizens known as Calvary Classics, a women’s ministry, a summer slow pitch, co-ed softball league for ages 12 through adult, and morning and evening worship services.
The 20 Years On the Hill Celebration Weekend will continue with a special service on November 18 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Ken Young with a video montage, recognition of charter members of the church, a group photo by drone and a chicken BBQ.
On November 19, at 10 a.m. Pastor Ralph Nevin will share a special message followed by a light lunch of soup and salads and an afternoon preaching and pie program of testimony and messages by pastors Doug Ferry and Joel Hawn.
