PULASKI — The second annual Pulaski Halloween Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, followed by an outdoor children’s movie night Sunday, Oct. 25, according to an Oct. 19 release from the Boo-Tastic Weekend organizing committee.
The inaugural parade in 2025 featured more than 50 participating businesses and individuals, according to organizers, who are preparing for a larger event this year.
“This event is about bringing people together and creating something special for our community,” said Anna Jerome, owner of Dye and Curl Up Salon and the parade’s founder. “We want families to have a place to make memories, celebrate Halloween and enjoy everything that makes Pulaski such a wonderful community.”
This year’s parade will feature local businesses, community groups and individuals with costumes and themed floats. For the first time, judges will award trophies in categories including Most Creative, Funniest and Spookiest.
The judging panel includes Margaret Weigel, Ashley Gilbert, Robin Philips, Joe McGrath and Frank Catanzarite.
Pulaski Mayor Jeffrey Fowler will serve as the parade’s grand marshal, while Dan Dalin will serve as master of ceremonies.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the Pulaski Boylston Snowmobile Club on Route 11 and travel through the village, ending at Lura Sharp Elementary School on Lake Street. Community members are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween best and bring treat bags to collect any candy that will be handed out along the route.
To make it easier for families to attend, the Pulaski Academy and Central School District will provide free transportation from the PACS bus garage to the south park beginning at 8:30 a.m. Transportation back to the bus garage will also be available until noon.
The Halloween celebration will continue Sunday evening with a brand-new event. An outdoor children’s movie night will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at the south park in the Village of Pulaski.
Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween pajamas or costumes and settle in for an evening of family-friendly fun. Complimentary popcorn, cotton candy, drinks and other treats will be available, the release said.
The Boo-tastic weekend is organized by a committee of local women who share a love of Halloween and a passion for their community. Committee members include Jerome; Christa Rice, owner of Reel Nutrition; Jenn King, manager of Frightmare Farms Haunted Scream Park; Jessica Loomis and Jen Taylor, owners of Two Broke Moms; Jessica Sorell, owner of Jovial Photography and representative for Starz Dance Movement; and Samantha Parker, a member of the Ringgold Fire Company.
