Pulaski Has County’s Best-Tasting Water

The Oswego County Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee recently presented the village of Pulaski with the first-place award in its annual best-tasting water contest. The presentation took place during the August legislature meeting at the H. Douglas Barclay Courthouse in Pulaski. The contest is sponsored by the Oswego County Health Department’s Environmental Division, New York State Department of Health, and the New York State chapter of the American Water Works Association. At hand for the presentation were Terry Wilbur, District 21; Dr. Dennis Norfleet, Oswego County Public Health Director; Committee Chairman John Proud, District 7; Pulaski Mayor Ernie Wheeler; Jacob Mulcahey, District 15; and Margaret Kastler, District 1.
