PULASKI – Parents and community members recently packed into the Pulaski High School cafeteria to be treated to a night of musical entertainment as the school hosted their annual Java Jam event.

Java Jam is a performance opportunity for music students to showcase their individual talents.  Students are able to choose their own songs and perform as soloists, in duets, or small ensembles. All sorts of musical methods were on display, with students giving instrumental, vocal, and hybrid performances.

“It’s a great night of music,” said Aimee Mumford, a vocal music teacher at the school. “It’s like a coffee shop open mic night of music. We also provide refreshments for the audience. The kids look forward to it each year, and they really enjoy performing for the community.”
