Pulaski Historical Society Open House Slated

PULASKI – The Pulaski Historical Society will join in celebrating the Salmon River Winter Festival with an open house on Saturday, Jan. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be a two-part special exhibit, “Tempus Fugit…Snow Does, Too!”

In the Carriage House there will be a collection of local calendars from businesses, churches, organizations and historical societies, some going back 100 years!

Throughout the museum there will be displays featuring memorable snowstorm scenes in photographs, postcards and newspaper stories.

Guides will be available for free tours and free hot chocolate will be on hand.

The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., across from Mavis Tire/Cole Muffler in the village.

During January and February, the museum is open by appointment.

Volunteers are available for free tours or to help with research and questions at the regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
