OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Opportunities Breastfeeding, Chestfeeding, and Lactation Friendly New York (BFFNY) initiative is proud to announce the official certification of the Pulaski Public Library as a Lactation-Friendly Community Space.
This certification honors the Pulaski Public Library’s commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and community empowerment. The BFFNY initiative is proud to partner with this cherished local institution to make a tangible, positive difference for parents and young children in the Pulaski and Richland areas. Creating these supportive environments within public learning and gathering hubs is key to fostering a healthier, more inclusive Oswego County.
As a cornerstone of the local community, the Pulaski Public Library serves as a shining model for how public spaces and educational centers can actively support the health, comfort, and well-being of the diverse families they serve.
The BFFNY initiative works across the county to partner with businesses, healthcare practices, and public entities to implement supportive lactation policies and environments. For more information about the BFFNY initiative, or to learn how your business or organization can become a certified lactation-friendly space, please visit https://www.oco.org/services/health/bffny/ or email [email protected].
