OSWEGO – SUNY Oswego will display the artistry of quilts July 13 to Sept. 1 at Oswego State Downtown in a free public exhibition titled “A Is for Apple, B Is for Ball … Letter Quilts by the Four Seasons Quilters.”

An artists’ reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. July 20, at the downtown branch of the College Store, corner of West Bridge and First streets in Oswego.
Four Seasons Quilters, established in the 1980s in the town of Scriba, will display about 17 quilts, each using a letter of the alphabet as a basis for its design.
The 20-member group meets monthly, often using its skills to benefit charities and those in need in the area with hats, mittens, scarves and placemats, as well as quilts.
Oswego State Downtown is open noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday during the Oswego Farmers’ Market, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
