Raptors at the Oswego Public Library: A Free Falconry Experience for All Ages

OSWEGO – Meet birds of prey with MorganEagle Falconry at the Oswego Public Library on Saturday, April 11, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. Discover each bird’s unique abilities and learn about the ancient sport of falconry, presented by Normajean Albright and her flock. Enjoy a wild, all-ages event in the community room!
Albright will demonstrate the equipment used in falconry and explain how these birds hunt. There will be hawks, falcons, and owls. Explore each bird’s unique characteristics and hunting styles, and learn how they are incorporated into the sport.
MorganEagle Falconry’s goal is conservation through education, including teaching the public about raptors and their ecological roles to inspire stewardship of wildlife and habitats.
The event will take place in the community room on the library’s lower level. The Oswego Public Library is located at 120 E 2nd Street, Oswego, NY 13126. All ages are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
