Redfield Hosts Wing Fling Aug. 16

A panel of judges will determine Oswego County’s best-tasting chicken wings at the Reservoir Inn’s “Wing Fling” from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. Awards will be given in a variety of categories as well as a “people’s choice” award. Judges include County Legislator Milferd Potter, District 2, Orwell; Oswego County Administrator Phil Church, Redfield Town Councilwoman Carla Bauer, Jim Dowd of PathFinder Bank, and Tommy Roosa of the Reservoir Inn.

The event will feature live bluegrass and country music, children’s activities and games, a fortune teller, jewelry sales, vendors and refreshments.

Davis Brothers Meats, PathFinder Bank, Sysco Food Products, and the Reservoir Inn are sponsoring the Wing Fling.  The Reservoir Inn is located at the corner of county Routes 2 and 17 in Redfield.
