Oswego Public Library’s Public Computing Center offers new courses and workshops each month.
It’s time to visit or call the library at 341-5867 to register for May classes.
The following courses and workshops are offered in the month of May:

Introduction to computers 8 sessions – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m.
Internet basics 8 sessions – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Digital media club for grades 5 to 8 – 4 sessions – Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m.
Credit repair and money management seminar – May 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room
Powerpoint – May 5 from 10 a.m. to noon
Facebook – May 5 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Computer tune-up – May 12 from 10 a.m. to noon
Digital media club – May 12, from noon to 2 p.m.
Individual help with any device – May 12 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Repairing photos with Photoshop elements – May 19 from 10 a.m. to noon
Practicing Word – May 19 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Kindle Fire basics – May 26 from 10 a.m. to noon
Craigslist – May 26 from 1 to 3 p.m.
All classes and assistance are free and are provided through a Broadband Technology Opportunity grant.
Get Help Completing FAFSA Application at the PCC
It can be a daunting task to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid online form.
At the Public Computing Center instructors can walk people through completing this online form.
It is just one of many services offered at the PCC, which is funded by a Broadband Technology Opportunity Program grant.
If you want help completing a FAFSA, please be sure to bring recent tax return information with you to the Public Computing Center.
