Revolutionary War Unit At Fair Haven Independence Parade

Fair Haven – Continental Arms Collectors Association’s Revolutionary War Unit participated in Fair Haven’s annual July Independence Celebration Parade.

The group interprets a company from the First New York Regiment, Continental Army during 1782.

Their next event will be an encampment at Behling’s Orchard, in Mexico, on Sunday, September 20.

Visitors will have a unique opportunity to view historically accurate 18th century military drills and ceremonies.

Highlighting the program will be open-fire cooking and fife and drum music.
