The presentation is the latest in the RCA Reflections series of talks about ecology and the environment, whichare free and open to all to join. This talk will be delivered in a hybrid format: in-person at Rice Creek Field Station or via Zoom.
Araya’s career began in the field of marine science. He has been certified in the past as an arborist and landscaper through Cornell Cooperative Extension. He is now the sole proprietor of Fine Gardening, and has worked on transforming and beautifying many estate landscapes. Araya describes himself as a humble man who respects the earth.
The talk will feature Araya’s expertise in the world of plants, trees and shrubs. Participants are invited to come prepared with gardening questions. If you have a question about plant species ID, please bring a clear photo or an image on your phone.
