Riley Sixth Graders Celebrate Moving To OMS

OSWEGO, NY- Mariah Metcalf was the recipient of the “Principal’s American Citizenship Award” as Charles E. Riley Principal Dr. Randy Richards recognized sixth grade students at the year end ceremony.

Metcalf received an award with “is designed to recognize the student who consistently exhibits the kind of behavior we want to see displayed in our school and community.”

This year’s “Triple C Award” winners for “character, courage and commitment” were Emily Oldenburg and Natasha Mezza.

Being recognized with the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence were Jenna Ballard, Amber Canbek, Mariah Metcalf, Zachary Tepfenhart, Trevor Bradshaw, Jason Jones and Natasha Mezza.

This year’s recipients of the Presidential Award for Academic Achievement were M’kenzie Bradshaw, Christopher Hannock, Emily Oldenburg, Katherine Breeze, Daijah Hoskins and Elixis Rinoldo.

The ceremony recognized all of the academic and extracurricular successes of this year’s Charles E. Riley sixth grade students.

This year’s sixth graders who will be moving on to seventh grade at the Oswego Middle School included Arialees Alicea, Timothy Boyzuck III, Katherine Breezee, Chase Closs, Joshua Constanza, Brandon Grant, Christopher Hannock, Christopher Jones, Amber Lambo, Dakota Miller, Richard Norris, Alonzo Perez, Elexis Rinoldo, Maria Santizo, Brooke Syrell, Benjamin Thompson,  and William Wilder.

Also advancing were Jenna Ballard, M’kenzie Bradshaw, Hannah Cain, Joseph Cogswell, Cheyenne Diaz, Taylor Green, Dylan Haynes, Jason Jones, Mariah Metcalf, Adrianna Munyon, Emily Oldenburg, Taylor Peterson, Anna Rosario, Joshua Simmons, Zachary Tepfenhart, Dakota Trumble and Sabrina Winslow.

The other students who will be attending the middle school from Charles E. Riley will be Naliene Bartlett, Trevor Bradshaw, Amber Canbek, Caitlin Cole, Nathaniel Gordon, Miranda Hall, Daijah Hoskins, Hunter Laffey, Natasha Mezza, Andrew Nearbin, Luke Penfield, Katiria Ramos, Leeann Rowe, Megan Smith, Ashton Tharrett, Alyssa Wahrendorf and Travis Wyman.
