Ritchie Calls On CNY, NNY Residents To Share Opinions Through Legislative Survey

As lawmakers prepare to head back to the Capitol for the upcoming Legislative Session, State Senator Patty Ritchie is inviting her constituents to weigh in on issues facing New York State through her 2015 Legislative Survey.

Available on Senator Ritchie’s website, www.ritchie.nysenate.gov, the survey asks individuals to voice their opinions on major topics including government spending, Common Core, agriculture, college tuition, job creation and more.

“As state senator, it’s my top priority to make the voices of my constituents heard and to represent their views in Albany,” said Ritchie. “I’m eager to hear the opinions of the people in Central and Northern New York whom I represent on the major issues, everything from education to government spending, in an effort to make sure I’m accurately representing their interests when I head back to Albany.”

The survey is available to Senator Ritchie’s constituents in Jefferson, Oswego and St. Lawrence counties.

Participants are asked to visit www.ritchie.nysenate.gov to take the survey.

Those without access to a computer can call Senator Ritchie’s Watertown office at (315) 782-3418 to have a survey mailed to them.

The deadline to weigh in is January 21.

The survey represents Senator Ritchie’s latest effort to reach out to constituents for their opinions on major issues.

In the past, she has organized surveys on topics such as education and outdoor recreation as well as hosted forums on issues such as synthetic drugs and heroin abuse. missing or outdated ad config
