The annual River’s Edge “handmade” Craft Show is set for June 12.

Hours for the show will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Last year’s event was an overwhelming success and we expect nothing less of this year’s show.

This year’s event is already larger than last year with many more vendors and a larger children’s area with The Rosamond Gifford “Zoo to you,” The Book Mobile, Karate demonstrations by Performance Fitness, Finger printing by the sherriff’s department and Oswego Police Department, demonstrations by “Freezing Code” Robotics, face painting and much more.

It will truly be “fun for the entire family.”

We are expecting many of the same vendors as last year and we also have many new crafters added to the mix.

Returning once again this year are Bags by Joan, Lucray, Crescent Moon Studio, Timmy Crack Corn Produce, Cole’s Candles, Lakeside Artisans, Dan’s Woodworking, R&S Jewels, Winona Creek, and Lizzy B Designs just to name a few.

Along with the beautiful crafts there will once again be wine tasting from some of the finest New York State wineries.

Returning again this year will be Lakeland Winery and Thousand Islands Winery.

Musical entertainment by Double V’s will be playing all afternoon, and there will be more food vendors to satisfy the hungry palette.

We would also like to thank all our sponsors who help to cover the cost of the music and children’s entertainment.

Thanks go out to Gentile’s Automotive, Wayne’s Drug Store, Lindsey Aggregates, Murphy’s Automotive Solutions, Robert Berkley Physical Therapy, NBT Bank, Warner Physical Therapy, Compass Federal Credit Union, Nelson’s Funeral Home, Burritt’s Chevrolet and Rudy’s Lakeside Inn.

A special thank you goes to K-9 Grooming for sponsoring the Rosamond Gifford’s “Zoo to You” programs.

The Oswego Lions Club has developed a great reputation of putting on a “good show” so like all of our other events, we are expecting big crowds again this year.
