Fulton high school students may not have won a recent VEX Robotics Competition, but they still left in high spirits.

Two teams participated in the competition: the Bucky Raiders placed 12th and the Last Minute Rookies took 13th.
47 teams competed in the competition.
It was hosted at Baldwinsville Central School District.
“Today wasn’t one of our better days,” said 11th grader Tim McAfee (Last Minute Rookies). “But you always learn and it’s always fun.”
The VEX Robotics Competition is presented by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation.
According to www.robotevents.com:

“In addition to having a great time and building amazing robots, through their participation in the VEX Robotics Competition and their work within their team, students will learn many academic and life skills.”
The Last Minute Rookies did walk away with the Robot Skills Winner award, presented to the top ranked team in the VRC Robot Skills Challenge.
