FULTON – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Peggy Donnelly introduced Rob and Mary Beth Hill from Blessings in a Backpack.

They are the driving force behind this project which helps to feed approximately 180 children attending Fulton’s elementary schools.
The children in the program are selected by social workers and is completely anonymous.
Various fundraisers are held throughout the year for the purchase of food and other items.
The hats shown were donated for the children by Donnelly’s daughter.
Mary Beth and Rob work with volunteers from the Prince of Peace Church who pick up the food, then package and distribute it to area schools.
The cost to feed a child for one year is $90.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Mimi’s.
