OSWEGO, NY – On Dec. 2, Brenda Weissenberg told the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about the Foster and Adoptive Parents Association of Oswego County.
The group helps parents of foster and adoptive children cope with problems and provide a Christmas party.
Each year, they receive money from a sponsor to run a Christmas party for foster children ages birth to 21.
This year their regular sponsor could not provide finical help.
The Oswego Sunrise Rotary jumped in to help the group at the last moment.
Gifts of toys and a check for $100 was given to help with the party.
