OSWEGO, NY – James Karasek was the guest of club member Sabine Ingerson recently.

He spoke about the auditing process he uses at ARISE to evaluate homes of people with disabilities for needed modifications to reduce the chance of injuries and enable residents to continue living in their homes for as long as possible.
Audits consist of entry ways in to the residence, hallways and doors, stairs, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and living room spaces.
Karaske is a certified aging-in-place specialist and is also an Oswego County Legislator representing District 22.
