Rotary Hosts new executive director of Shineman Foundation

OSWEGO, NY – Karen Goetz, new executive director of the Richard S. Shineman Foundation was a guest at a recent Oswego Rotary meeting.

Goetz was introduced by club member Doug McRae.

Ms. Goetz grew up in Oswego and graduated from Oswego High School.

Most recently, she was the former president and CEO of Inforia, Inc. and has been a charter member of the Shineman Board of Directors but has stepped down from both positions to focus on her new position leading the foundation with the president of the board of directors, Barbara P. Shineman and wife of Richard S. Shineman.

Ms. Goetz hopes to make “meaningful change in the community and by so doing, directly impacting people’s lives in a positive way.”
