The Oswego County BOCES Stepping Stones Day Program in Fulton has partnered with Services to Aid Families (SAF) for an ongoing school-based educational program that includes a focus on every day heroes in the community, safe choices, and violence awareness.

SAF educators Meredith Needham and Sarah Carmichael coordinated introductory activities and lessons to help students recognize characteristics of people who are demonstrating safe behavior and how to make positive choices in order to behave like the everyday heroes in the students’ own lives.
The SAF educators will continue to provide weekly support to the classrooms at the Stepping Stones Day Program through the end of the school year.
