Salvation Army Music Conservatory Band To Perform At Farmers’ Market

OSWEGO, NY – The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Oswego Farmers’ Market, celebrating over 50 years as Oswego’s community block party, continues on July 10 from 5-9 p.m. on West First Street, between Bridge and Oneida streets.
Members of The Salvation Army Music Conservatory of the Empire State Division will provide the musical entertainment at the July 10 Oswego Farmers’ Market. 
This week’s entertainment will feature a very special performance by members of The Salvation Army Music Conservatory of the Empire State Division.

These talented young people ranging from age 12 to 21 are from across New York State.

The group will be in Oswego through July 11 participating in classes at the Salvation Army for music theory, leadership, creative dance and movement, drama and biblical studies.

They will also be spending many hours practicing their musical skills and are looking forward to performing at the Oswego Farmers’ Market.

The leaders for this event are members and officers from the Salvation Army across New York State.  Following their stay in Oswego the group will be heading to Long Point Camp where they will be assistant musical leaders for the Salvation Army Annual Musicamp.

For the safety of the pet, as well as the general public, animals are prohibited from the market.
