Salvation Army Seeks Donations

OSWEGO – The Oswego County Salvation Army welcomes donations from the community for its Thanksgiving Day dinner.

The needed ingredients include ten turkeys, stuffing, cream of mushroom soup, fried onions, green beans, and disposable roasting pans.

The dinner will be served on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Center for Worship and Service at 73 W. Second St. in Oswego.

Contributions to the food pantries are invited at any time of year.

The grocery items in greatest need include canned vegetables, soups, pasta, canned meat, rice, and canned fruit, but any nonperishable foods are acceptable.

Contributions for the Thanksgiving dinner or the food pantries may be delivered to the Center for Worship and Service at 73 W. Second St. in Oswego, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, or to 62 S. First St. in Fulton, 10 a.m. to 1 -p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
