OSWEGO COUNTY – Sandy Creek Central School District celebrated the 100th day of school at Sandy Creek Elementary School, recognizing a key milestone in the academic year.
Students took part in hands-on activities focused on the number 100, including math challenges, and creative classroom projects. Classrooms also featured activities such as 100-dot bingo, and younger students marked the occasion by dressing up as 100-year-olds. The activities highlighted student progress and reinforced lessons in perseverance and goal-setting.
The celebration reflects the district’s mission to provide all students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be self-directed, lifelong learners through high-quality education in partnership with parents, staff and the community. The district’s vision is to prepare students to become contributing members of their local community and global society.
