Sandy Creek Elementary Honors Local Veterans

SANDY CREEK, NY – Sandy Creek Elementary School held a special honor ceremony for local veterans and their families.

Special Veteran guests and their students joined together for a group photo following a special recognition program at Sandy Creek Elementary School.

Students at the school invited their special veteran of the Armed Forces guest to the ceremony which began in morning program.

Students at the school performed patriotic songs and projected a special photo presentation of local veterans connected in some way with the district.

Following the morning program presentation, the veterans and their guests moved to a special reception in their honor.

Middle row: Sophie Harris and Larry Ecker. In back: Andrea Harris and Kyle Faulkner. Ecker is Mr. Faulkner and Mrs. Harris’ uncle and is a veteran having served in the US Navy.
