SANDY CREEK – The Sandy Creek Middle and High School Concert Bands, under the direction of Thomas Artini, held their annual Spring Concert recently.

Jacob Kuehl plays a solo during the song “All Star.” In addition to Kuehl’s solo, Connor Stone and J.J. Hays each had a solo performance during the song.

The show was opened with a three-part performance by the Percussion Ensemble which showcased the incredibly talented students in the percussion group.

The middle school band’s performance included four pieces of music and the more than four dozen performers created a beautiful sound that filled the auditorium.

The high school concert band began its portion of the performance with two songs before recognizing the many senior band members in their final band concert of their career at the school.

It was “standing room only” on stage for the finale at the Spring Concert for the Middle and High School Concert Bands recently. The two bands joined together onstage for final performance of the evening.

The final selection by the high school band featured several soloists, including Jacob Kuehl on tenor sax, and Connor Stone and J.J. Hays on trumpet.

More than 80 student performers took the stage in a grand finale combined group of middle and high school concert bands to top off the evening of incredible music.

Percussion ensemble featured members Sarah Balcom, C.J. Barney, Gabrielle Brown, Sydney Burgy, Annie Chen, Emma McDougal and Ashleigh Rosenbaum, opened the evening’s concert.
