Season High Score For Marching Bucs

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers achieved a season-high score last Saturday night at the New York State Field Band Conference show in Auburn and look forward to one more show before traveling to the Buckeye Invitational.

Last Saturday evening the Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers scored an 80.60, but finished just three-tenths of a point behind National Division winning Webster.

This Saturday the band will be competing in the NYSFBC show at New Hartford.

The program gets under way at 7 p.m. with Westmoreland taking the field to start the evening. Other bands taking the field for competition include Rome Free Academy, New Hartford, East Irondequoit, Mohonasen, and Medina.

Vying in the National Class will be Victor (performing at 8:18 p.m.) followed by Cicero-North Syracuse and Oswego.

On Oct. 15, the Bucs will join upwards to 30 other bands in competition at the Buckeye Invitational in the Ohio State Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. missing or outdated ad config
