Families turned out in the masses for the second annual Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Elementary School Back To School Picnic.

The event was sponsored by the APW Parent-Teacher-Student Association and those in attendance were treated to an afternoon of fun and food.
Carnival games and crafts were set up in the gymnasium and students could try their luck and show off their skills in games such as the regatta race, the ring toss, and the car race.
Picnic fare, served by APW PTSA volunteers, was available in the cafeteria during the event and the library was also open and hosting a book fare for families interested in purchasing a new book or books to read at home.
