State Senator Patty Ritchie will host a “Mobile District Office” at the Hannibal Municipal Building, on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 4 PM to 6 PM.
Constituent service staff from Sen. Ritchie’s Oswego District Office will be on hand to help area residents with any issues they may be having with state or other government agencies.
The Hannibal Mobile District Office is the third of several such events that Sen. Ritchie has been holding in communities across Oswego County, including a fourth Mobile District Office event scheduled on Sept. 7 in Pulaski.
“My mobile office has been very successful in allowing me and my staff to help Oswego County residents with problems getting answers and results from state government agencies,” Senator Ritchie said. “Often it’s hard for working people to get the help they need from their state government. That’s why I’m hosting these sessions at times when it’s more convenient for working people.”
“By bringing my office into communities, we can make sure we’re available to get answers and help for people,” Senator Ritchie said. “We’ve helped hundreds of Oswego residents since we opened our Oswego office in the Oswego County Office Building and began our Mobile District Office program.”
Constituents can get advice and guidance in dealing with state agencies, and Sen. Ritchie’s staff will be collecting information to help those who can’t get the answers they need, or are having difficulty navigating the cumbersome state bureaucracy.
During the day, Senator Ritchie also will be meeting with local officials, and discussing ways her office can help them better serve their communities, as well as help grow the local economy to create new jobs.
