MEXICO – The second annual Mexico Academy & Central School District Senior Walk left the district’s younger students in awe of the Class of 2018.

Mexico High School’s graduating seniors strutted through the hallways of Mexico Middle School before they split into thirds and walked through their respective elementary schools.
In each building, students and staff members lined the hallways where they whistled, applauded and cheered in excitement as they saw the seniors dressed in their caps, gowns, sashes and honor cords.
“They’re not so little anymore!” exclaimed one middle school teacher.

Congratulatory signs were made to honor the seniors, who in turned hugged their past MACS teachers because of the profound impact they have had on the seniors’ complete educational journey.
Those who attended New Haven Elementary School were also treated to a breakfast and one, last moment of fun on the school playground.
