FULTON – The seventh annual Family Fun Snow Day will kick off from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. January 27 at CNY Arts Center located on the Cayuga College Fulton Campus at 11 River Glen Drive.
The snow themed day of carnival games, prizes, arts and crafts and plenty of hot chocolate traditionally kicks off on the last Saturday in January.
Characters from Shrek the Musical are expected to attend.
Returning this year will be activities provided by community partners each bringing a new game to the carnival.
Kids who complete activities or games, receive prize tickets to ‘spend’ at the popular Prize Center.
Carnival tickets purchased at the door and snack bar sales help to fund arts programming year round at the multi-arts center.
The sixth annual Snow Day saw the debut of community partners participating in the popular event.
Nine community agencies were represented while kids enjoyed new games and interactions with favorite local organizations including Fulton Public Library, Oswego County Health, Catholic Charities, United Way and others.
Returning volunteers from Fulton Sunrise Rotary helped with set up, concessions and clean up as well as oversight of the highly popular arts and crafts table.
