OSWEGO, NY – The top three teams in the first ever golf tournament of the Oswego Opera Tournament, held at Tamarack Golf Club in Oswego on Aug. 19, were separated by just two points.
The inaugural event was won by the Shanley Law Office Team.
They turned in a score of 60 (10 under par).
The Wayne Drugs Team, with a score of 61, ranked second, while third place was won by the Port of Oswego Authority team with a score of 62.
The next three teams scored 63, 63, and 64, respectively.
The day was great, the scores were low, everybody enjoyed the golf, and thanks to the generosity of the Oswego community, the Oswego Opera Theater netted about $4,600 toward this fall’s productions.
