Shawna Gallton of Kristi’s Restaurant to be Guest Chef at Oswego Salvation Army Dinner Benefit on April 14th

Shawna Gallton of Kristi’s Restaurant in Oswego will be the guest chef at the upcoming Oswego Salvation Army Benefit Dinner on April 14th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the American Foundry. OSWEGO, New York – Shawna Gallton of Kristi’s Restaurant in Oswego will be the guest chef at the upcoming Oswego Salvation Army Benefit Dinner on April 14th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the American Foundry, according to Major Corinne Hayes of the Oswego Chapter.

Gallton, who is the new Executive Chef at Kristi’s, will be serving up Chicken Cantelloni with Caesar Salad and bread at the April 14th event.

“We greatly appreciate the partnership with Shawna and Kristi’s Restaurant for our April Guest Chef event,” said Hayes. “We’re looking forward to another wonderful dinner and hope our community will come out and support the Oswego Salvation Army.”

Gallton, originally from Rochester, New York, was formerly the Sous Chef (second in command) at Warfield’s Restaurant in Victor, New York. Prior to that she was at the Brown Hound Bistro in Rochester.

A graduate of Monroe Community College with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant management, Gallton moved to Oswego recently to accept the position at Kristi’s to further her career as an Executive Chef. She has been a chef for 13 years.

Tickets for the event are $8.50 for adults, $5 for children aged 6-12, and FREE for children 5 and under. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Oswego Salvation Army location at 73 West Second Street, or by contacting them at (315) 343-6491.

All proceeds will benefit the Oswego Salvation Army’s “I Believe” campaign.

The Oswego Salvation Army’s “I Believe” campaign will help with renovations and expanded services at the new building, the former New York State Labor Department on West Second Street. The Oswego Salvation Army is part of the International Salvation Army organization, which is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. The local citadel provides food, education, services and spiritual support to the local community.
