FULTON – “We did it, Fulton! Once again, you came through to support the Fulton Block Builders (FBB) program,” said Linda Eagan, FBB Founder. “FBB has received the full $100,000 matching grant from the Richard S. Shineman Foundation.”
The Richard S. Shineman Foundation’s vision is to serve as a “catalyst for change” to enhance the quality of life throughout Oswego County. Foundation Director Chena Tucker shared that the foundation’s board members are encouraged by the increasing and unprecedented collaborations taking place among community organizations such as Fulton Block Builders.
“Fulton Block Builders has continued to exceed expectations with its successful Healthy Neighborhoods revitalization program, and our foundation is proud to continue its support of FBB,” Tucker said.
The $100,000 Shineman Foundation grant was made possible through FBB’s community matching campaign. Brookfield Renewable contributed $5,000, helping FBB reach the required match and secure the full grant.
“We are grateful for all the support FBB receives from our greater community,” said Tina Eusepi, FBB Director. “It inspires us to continue this transformative work.”
The 2026 Block Challenge Program continues FBB’s grassroots approach to neighborhood revitalization, encouraging residents to work together to improve their homes, properties and neighborhoods while building community pride.
