Silver Spur to Perform at Oswego’s Farmers’ Market

The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Oswego Farmers’ Market, celebrating over 50 years as Oswego’s Community Block Party, continues on Thursday, July 31st from 5-9pm in downtown Oswego on West First St., between Bridge and Oneida Streets.

This week’s market is sponsored by the Oswego Speedway and will feature a special musical performance by Ed Goetz and Silver Spur.  The official Oswego Speedway Pace Truck will also be on display at the market.

The Oswego Farmers’ Market hosts over 50 vendors offering a great selection of fresh produce, home made baked goods and delicacies, honey, maple syrup, and plenty of arts and crafts along with other crowd favorites such as fresh squeezed lemonade, fried dough, Italian sausages and more.

Market goers will also have the opportunity to help grow the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival by purchasing 50 / 50 raffle tickets.  Tickets will be available at the Chamber booth each week of the market.  The winning ticket will be drawn during the Pumpkin Festival at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 5th in Washington Square Park.  You need not be present to win.

While the Farmers’ Market is fun for the whole family, the Chamber would like to remind everyone that for the safety of the pet, as well as the general public, animals are prohibited from the market.
